Fred created hundreds of designs that were mass produced and reflected the mid-century modern design era. His glassware was especially popular from 1950-1980’s and his use of bold images, daring colors and contrasting color schemes made his pieces unique. As the chief designer and executive Vice President of Rubel & Company in New York City from the 1950-1980’s, Fred helped revolutionize the giftware industry and made art pieces available to the masses that are iconic of this time period and still sought after today.
