Caribbean Breeze Covers
The Caribbean Breeze was the official magazine of the 6th Air Force during the Second World War and was generated from the US Canal Zone in Panama. When Fred joined the 6th in 1942, the magazine had a black and white cover and very few human interest stories. Within months, he transformed the publication to have four color covers, expanded the stories to include local history and the distribution greatly increased. The covers were designed and drawn by Fred Press.
